Occasionally, a reader will submit an idea. I've received contest themes from Sol Morrison, Steve Pavlina, Les Harden, Nancy Lininger. If you come up with a theme, send it in! I also found this month's theme more challenging (I have to write the examples). I stick mostly to pun-type contests because classic jokes usually take a set up and that would involve too much text for a contest. A one liner with word play is good practice to sharpen one's general humor writing ability. I'm always amazed with what our readers come up with. John Hi Arun,
