I know you say that one can learn to be funny, but cartoon captions and joke contests seem so hard. I like your observational humor the best. I have surprised myself at Toastmasters by being able to work a few funny lines into Table Topics. It is very “freeing” for this uptight old lady!

Learning humor isn’t easy. But caption and joke contests are a good way to stimulate your creative thinking. For some people, observational humor will be an easier and more fun way of practicing. Glad the observational humor is working for you. It IS fun when a line works!
